Mary Beth Sasso joined Episcopal Charities in June 2007 in the role of Executive Director. She received her Master of Arts degree from The University of Michigan and worked in Strategic Management Consulting in a variety of Marketing and Business Development roles prior to transitioning into Not-For-Profit management.

Before beginning his vocation in the Church, Sam Smith worked in professional opera for 17 years, primarily in the areas of administration and communications. Sam recently completed his Master of Divinity Degree at The General Theological Seminary and is a Priest Associate at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine.

Henry E. Enright, Director of Development

A seasoned professional, Henry has helped advance the causes of public broadcasting, maritime and overseas ministries, higher education, and help for homeless families. He has also consulted on a volunteer basis with organizations serving the developmentally disabled and victims of domestic abuse. Henry holds a BA in Psychology and MA in Counselor Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Venetia Hulse, Mountbatten Intern

Venetia Hulse joined the team in March 2013 from the UK via the Mountbatten Internship Program. Venetia is a recent graduate from the University of Nottingham with a BA in French and Spanish.  She has spent the last two years working in Media, first at a TV Consultancy and most recently as a Broadcast Analysis Executive at ITV.
