How It Works

Program-driven and project-based:  Projects may be identified and initiated either by Outreach Programs or by Episcopal Charities. The nature and timing of volunteer consultant opportunities is expected to vary.

Collaboration:  Episcopal Charities connects Outreach Programs with appropriate volunteer consultants, coordinating an initial meeting with the program director and the clergy-in-charge to discuss potential cooperation.

Mutual Responsibility:  Program leadership and the Volunteer(s) create a written contract outlining scope of work, responsibilities, deliverables and liability limitations.

Confidentiality:  All information shared by Program leadership and volunteer consultants is confidential (except in cases where current or future Episcopal Charities grants would be affected).
