The Community Food Pantry 

The Community Food Pantry, founded in 1982, provides emergency and supplemental food to families or individuals in need who live in the Mohegan Lake and surrounding area.   They seek to provide nutritional, health, educational/employment opportunities, pubic benefit information and referrals to facilitate their guests moving beyond the need for emergency food.   In 2008the pantry has served nearly 37,000 meals to an average of 80-90 households each week.
