The People Living with AIDS Project at St. Luke in the Fields provides a full-course sit-down meal each Saturday evening and bedside visits to hospital patients and their families and caregivers on Sunday afternoons. The PLWA Project, begun in 1987, now serves approximately 4,000 meals and refreshments annually. In addition to meals and hospital visits, the Project provides guests with counseling services and referrals to receive more extensive care.
