St. Ignatius of Antioch Church

The St. Ignatius Soup Kitchen was founded in 1984 in response to increasing homelessness on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The objectives of the Soup Kitchen are to provide a healthy meal to hungry people in the community and to develop the Parish into one of service. The program currently serves over 4,600 meals each year, and also provides social service referrals.
