A new program in 2011, the Horticultural Therapy Garden aims to enhance the lives of young people afflicted with autism by affording them the opportunity to experience the natural world, and others in it, in a safe, educational and inspirational garden setting. Education programs conducted by trained and certified horticultural therapists are offered three afternoons a week from April through November. The Therapy Garden will be open to young people and their families 365 days a year.
