DIAL-A-VAN, part of the Martin Luther King Cultural Center, provides low-cost door to door transportation to doctor appointments, hospitals, shopping and other errands. The program also brings meals to homebound seniors, providing over 10,000 meals in 2008. For those who are more mobile, a van will take them to a community center for a hot lunch and social activities.
