To explore, to create, to communicate is the mission of this unique program that is committed to creating a non-threatening environment where children and adolescents can explore their creativity, learn new theatrical and musical skills, and develop artistic values such as self-discipline, teamwork, commitment and leadership. Founded in 1999, the program is offered to children and adolescents ages five to eighteen, regardless of race, color, religious belief, gender, or sexual orientation. Six to eight full-scale productions are mounted each season, involving over 100 youth and reaching over 5,000 people in the Northern Manhattan and Bronx communities.
