The Northeastern Dutchess Feeding and Latino Ministries program has a two part mission. The Latino Minstry, headquartered at Grace Church, provides English Language instruction both to help with language skills and to establish trusting connections in the Hispanic community. To assist recent immigrants, the outreach coordinator provides referrals to social service agencies in the area and worksn in conjunction with AHORA, a volunteer Hispanic organization that helps Latino people obtain resources from legal aid to health care. The Feeding Ministry is centered in the Food of Life Food Pantry at St. Thomas Church, open every Friday, which provides a choice pantry for anyone n the area in need of food.
