The Tie that Binds Summer Camp

Church of the Mediator's Summer Camp Program was founded in 2006 with the mission to provide a safe environment for children ages six to twelve to experience 'summer camp' together and to learn new ways of communicating, resolving conflict, promoting literacy and having fun. The program offers a variety of field trips including trips to museums, historic houses, the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Gardens. In addition to cultural events, the program focuses on making literacy fun by performing theatrical plays, group sing-a-long exercises and meditation.
