Washington Heights Choir School

Washington Heights Choir School seeks to provide affordable or no-cost afterschool care for the multi-ethnic and growing elementary-age population of Washington Heights. Childcare with an emphsis on musical education as well as one-on-one tutoring and homework supervision is provided for K-5 and 1st grade students. The program is carefully planned to introduce concepts that help at-risk children with verbal, spacial, logic and motor skills through active, paced lessons including singing, crafts, creative movement, games, rhythm instruments and other activities.
