Summer Day Camp 

Holyrood Church Summer Day Camp was begun over 40 years ago in response to the need in the community to give children a place to be during the summer months. The recreation-based program emphasizes cultural and educational events for children ages six to twelve from Washington Heights,  Harlem, and the Bronx. Program staff consists of persons who are qualified assistant principals, teachers, or college and high school students, and the child to adult ratio is 1:5 at all times. Besides being qualified for their jobs, the staff truly loves children and enjoys providing a safe, fun filled summer experience.
